Royal Mail releases first stamps for Team GB ... - BBC World News

Bradley Wiggins has joined Helen Glover and Heather Stanning in being honoured for their gold medal success at the London 2012 Olympics with commemorative stamps from the Royal Mail. The Bradley Wiggins stamp is going on sale today (Picture: PA) Wiggins, who has now won more Olympic medals than any other Briton after his time trial success yesterday, and Glover and Stanning, whose victory in the pairs represented the first time Britain?s women had won an Olympic rowing event, are also having post boxes in their home towns painted gold. The specially designed stamps, which are being produced overnight every time a British athlete wins gold, will go on sale in 500 post offices from today before reaching 4,700 branches by the end of the week.
