LOS ANGELES (AP) ? "Jack the Giant Slayer" climbed to the top of the box office in its first weekend in theaters, but didn't reach any great heights.
The big-budget, 3-D Warner Bros. adventure inspired by the Jack and the Beanstalk legend made just $27.2 million in its debut, according to final studio figures Monday.
