Cregg Galway are hiring a Commercial Sales Manager for our client?s expanding pharmaceutical company based in Ireland or UK. The ideal candidate must be a motivated, highly results orientated and have a winning attitude. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player, who will share our client?s vision of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the marketing plans for new products for both the UK and Irish market with total control for the product launches and working within the budgets set.
  • Developing? strategy for new products for the US market.
  • Develop? strategies, plans, budgets and sales strategies to optimise growth and profitability for the Irish, UK and export markets.
  • Drive sales through active development of new business opportunities and the? management of existing customers and sales force.
  • Deliver against targets for revenue, margin, debtor days, stock days and other agreed objectives.
  • Managing? Sales Managers and working with the Business Unit Managers.
  • Responsible for setting budgets, monitoring the budgets and margins, sales and costs?on a monthly basis
  • Presentation to the board on a quarterly basis on both sales and profit margin and budget.
  • Drive the business forward and promote a culture of outstanding customer service.
  • Develop strong new generic veterinary product pipeline opportunities and project??manage their introduction.
  • Monitor trends and competition in all markets.
  • Play a key role as part of the Senior Management Team.
  • Direct and co-ordinate the operation of marketing, sales and supportive functions?ensuring that manpower and other resources are utilised in the most efficient manner.
  • Formulate long range plans for the business and constantly review such plans in the?light of changing circumstances.
  • Leadership and management of staff.

Requirements:

  • BSc?in Science or in any other related discipline
  • 5 years experience in working as Senior Sales Manager in similar area.
  • Prior relevant industry experience is an advantage
  • Business Management and People Management experience in a senior role.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross functional departments
